Dr. William Arroyo is a board certified psychiatrist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Keck USC School of Medicine. He has served on various county community mental health advisory bodies, as a principal investigator, and has both crafted legislation and conducted policy analyses of pending state and federal legislation.

At the state level Bill has served on numerous advisory bodies in the areas of criminal justice, juvenile justice, mental health, suicide prevention, student mental health, and health, including the development of State Medicaid waivers.

On a national level, Bill has advised federal agencies and various national academic research centers; held leadership positions in local, state, and national psychiatric organizations and his state medical society; and provided medical leadership at both county and state levels in California.

Dr. Arroyo has advocated in the areas of mental health and addiction at the state and national levels, provides leadership to an international health organization, and serves as a peer reviewer for professional publications.
